The Craig Block Memorial Scholarship Fund honors the memory and legacy of longtime youth advisor Craig Block by assisting youth in attending Unitarian Universalist camps, conferences, leadership development trainings, and Our Whole Lives comperhensive sexuality education programs. Craig was an advisor and mentor for the UU senior high youth community starting in 2000, including serving as the Adult Dean for Sr. High Camps at de Benneville Pines from 2001-2004. He was beloved figure in our community, and built his life around being able to give as much of himself to it as he could, a practice he maintained as long as he lived. He brought his true and unique self to every interaction, always making sure you knew that he cared and had time for you. We will always remember Craig as someone who put the lives and futures of young people before his own, and inspired others to do the same. He lived his values unashamedly, with style and flair, and dedicated his life to helping others find the strength to live theirs.
