Who We Are

We are the Unitarian Universalist youth agency of Southern California, Arizona, and Nevada. The Pacific South West District is run by a 20 member youth-led board with goals to foster communites that empower UU youth. Our task is to plan, organize, and excecute Youth Conferences (Cons) and Trainings in the Pacific Southwest District while serving the community in its administrational needs. We are committed to fostering spirituality, connecting youth, and expanding community.

Purpose

The purpose of the youth board is to support and empower youth and their adult companions in spiritual growth; to encourage communication and cooperation between local, district, and regional youth groups and provide and manifest a greater understanding of Unitarian Universalism. We provide leadership opportunities for many youth beyond the members of our board and advise youth in stepping up and making a difference.

Dear young people of the entire world, weigh the responsibility to transform tomorrow’s world into a society where peace, harmony and fraternity reign.

– Bishop Carlos Belo
